The art of letting go..

There’s a Buddha saying ” addictive behaviour is the root of all suffering”.  Is this true? Very strong statement indeed. I disagree, but I do admit it is hard to let go of something like I love most which is dancing or anything related to it without a little bit of sadness. There’s time when you felt like we let things slipped away right before our eyes and there’s no one else to blame but ourselves.

Why is it so hard to let go? Well, I think it is human nature to become too attached to things.  And it can be very difficult for some of us to let go even if we know that they are not good for us. Someone said to me today, a fresh start for something bigger and better awaits. Which made me realize how amazing it was to deceive ourselves believing that things that could bring us happiness will no longer give us the same pleasure when we let go. And of course we all know that is not true. It might be painful but knowing the fact it will bring you greater achievement and happiness, surely help to let go things easier. If its hard still, simply remember all the negative consequences that will happen if we carry on. I do believe confidence is the key. Be confident and understand your situation which then leads to better decision.

Let go…
